Note: This dock will not charge your laptop and will need your external charger to provide power to your system. Due to limited USB 3.0 bandwidth and reduced hardware graphics acceleration of the DisplayLink software and hardware used in this docking station, we do not recommend it for use with full screen video playback, 2D or 3D graphics applications, or video editing software.

Compatibility: This laptop dock is compatible with most laptops and desktops running Windows 11 / 10 / 8.x / 7, ChromeOS 100+, and macOS 10.14+. Manual driver installation is required on Mac, while on Windows, plug and play driver installation is available via Windows Update. No driver installation is needed on ChromeOS. The box includes a USB 3.0 and USB-C cable to connect the dock to your laptop. The dock is not compatible with macOS 10.13 and previous, Linux/Unix, and ARM-based Windows systems.

This dock does not provide power to the connected laptop or tablet - the laptop will still require a separate charger.
